The state of Carabobo welcomed the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, along with the state’s governor, Rafael Lacava, at a massive gathering held in the municipality of Guacara.
The event took place as part of the commemoration of October as «Pink Month,» a global campaign aimed at raising awareness, prevention, self-examination, and timely diagnosis of breast cancer.
During the gathering, national and regional authorities joined the mobilization alongside women’s movements and communal organizations of that state.
The event highlighted the role of grassroots organization in public health policy, the promotion of integral care for women, and initiatives focused on the social well-being of the region.
