This Wednesday, the President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, held a fruitful meeting with evangelical pastor Ramiro Peña, Reverend Founder and Senior Pastor of the Cristo Rey (Christ the King) Church in Waco, Texas, United States, with the aim of strengthening ties of peace, intercultural dialogue, and spiritual unity.
In this regard, it is relevant to note that this meeting was guided by the principles of interfaith dialogue and served to continue the agenda initiated on March 27 during the «Diplomacy of Faith» meeting held at the Poliedro de Caracas, a space that has become a place of shared spirituality and ongoing prayer for reconciliation and peace in Venezuela.
During the development of the activity, the Head of State in Charge extended her warm greetings to Pastor Peña, as well as to Pastor José Almao of the Caracas House of Prayer, thus highlighting faith as a fundamental engine.
With this meeting, the Bolivarian Government reaffirms its firm commitment to the interreligious dialogue and freedom of worship, promoting spaces where the Christian faith strengthens the bonds of friendship, prosperity, and reconciliation for the entire Venezuelan people.
