Venezuela strengthens its digital communication: “Miraflores al Momento” debuts on X against disinformation

The Bolivarian Government launched a new official account on the X social network, called “Miraflores al Momento” (Miraflores at the Moment), aimed at counteracting the spread of fake news and disinformation campaigns on social media.

Through this platform, the Bolivarian Government categorically rejected a publication that recently circulated, which claimed, without base, the bestowing of honors to foreign intelligence agencies. Authorities described these versions as a product of bad intentions and lacking veracity, part of what they describe as a deliberate attempt to generate confusion among both national and international public opinion.

In its official message, the new account stated without doubts:

“We categorically deny the malicious information circulating on social media about a supposed awarding with honors to foreign intelligence agencies.”

With this communication strategy on X, the Government seeks to curb the spread of rumors and misleading content that, according to its report, undermine the country’s informative sovereignty. Authorities reiterated that there is no protocol act or official recognition scheduled for these organizations.
