This Thursday, a first work meeting was held between former deputy Dinorah Figuera, representing the opposition deputies from the 2015-2020 term, and the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, appointed by President in Charge Delcy Eloína Rodríguez, to lead the process of a political dialogue in Venezuela.

“Today, June 18, 2026, has been held at the Federal Legislative Palace of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela a first work meeting between Dr. Dinora Figuera, in her capacity as representative of the opposition deputies for the 2015-2020 term, and the President of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, appointed by the President In Charge of the Republic, Delcy Eloína Rodríguez, for the political dialogue.
At this meeting was designated a parity-based technical and political work table with an agenda containing concrete milestones and timelines that contribute to strengthening democracy, the consolidation of peace, and seeking a future of well-being and prosperity for all Venezuelan men and women.”
