Delcy Rodríguez, President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, from the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York, held a high-level bilateral meeting with World Bank Group President Ajay Banga.
The meeting focused on exploring new avenues for technical and financial cooperation, under the new strategic vision the World Bank has pursued under Banga’s management.
Both authorities showed particular interest in the impact of current global economic conditions on developing nations, agreeing on the importance of strengthening multilateral cooperation to mitigate financial risks.
The Venezuelan dignitary during her participation in these forums reiterated her commitment to diversifying the national economy. Within this context, it is worth noting that the World Bank supports initiatives that promote social inclusion and long-term sustainability.
