President Delcy Rodríguez led meeting with PSUV and JPSUV directorate

The President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held this Monday a meeting with the National Directorate of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and its youth wing (JPSUV), accompanied by the red party’s Secretary General, Diosdado Cabello, to evaluate the advances of the Venezuela Renace (Venezuela Reborn) Plan and to fine-tune the organization of the National Popular Consultation of next October 18.

During the meeting, the National Dignitary and the political team reviewed the status of reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts for homes and infrastructure damaged by the earthquakes of last June 24, as part of the direct response to the affected families and communities.

In parallel, the meeting served to finalize the operational details of the National Popular Consultation scheduled for next October 18th. This mechanism will allow communities within the communal circuits to participate in prioritizing, approving resources, and implementing territorial projects, under the principle of direct management from the very grassroots.

Likewise, the PSUV reaffirmed its support for the Head of State following the recently signed energy agreement with the United States government. Said instrument, according to what was expressed at the meeting, places the country’s hydrocarbon reserves at the service of Venezuela’s integral economic development, as the organization stated in a public communiqué issued last Saturday.

The work journey was developed this Monday’s afternoon and is part of the agenda on political coordination by the national government with party structures in preparation for upcoming commitments of management and popular participation.
