The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Wednesday a work meeting with key representatives from the country’s labor union, guilds and business sectors. The aim was to evaluate strategic issues focused on consolidating labor stability, social peace, and the nation’s productive development.
The event was attended by National Executive officials and representatives from labor and business groups, including the Sectoral Vice President for Administration and Digital Government, Anabel Pereira; the Sectoral Vice President for Social and Territorial Socialism and Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez; the Minister of People’s Power for the Social Process of Work, Carlos Alexis Castillo; the Minister of University Education, Ana María Sanjuán; and the Vice President of Finances at PDVSA, Christian Hernández.
Participants from the labor sector included Will Rangel of the Bolivarian Socialist Workers’ Central of Venezuela (CBST); José Torres, representing the Confederation of Workers of Venezuela (CTV); and Leida León, President of the Independent Union Alliance (ASI). While for the representation of the business sector attended Felipe Capozzolo of Fedecámaras and Orlando Camacho of Fedeindustria.
During the session, the national leader highlighted that the country is undergoing a process of economic recovery, noting that 91 percent of revenue is allocated to labor benefits and the social protection system for the Venezuelan people.
In this way, the National Executive reaffirms its commitment to maintaining open channels of communication with all sectors of the country, consolidating strategic alliances that strengthen social stability, boost the productive sector, and usher in a new era of prosperity and integral development for the entire Venezuelan population.
