The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, has arrived at Teterboro Airport, located in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States, to begin an agenda of institutional work in New York City for the 81st Session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.
Upon her arrival, the Head of State was welcomed by the Sectoral Vice President for Economy, Calixto Ortega, and the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Oliver Blanco. Representing the United States was John Barrett, Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Venezuela.
President Delcy Rodríguez’s participation in this multilateral forum includes a series of meetings and sessions aimed at strengthening the strategic cooperation ties and diplomacy of peace of the South American nation.
At these high-level journeys are addressed key areas of multilateralism, sustainable development, and the management of joint technical assistance that the Venezuelan State maintains with various agencies, funds, and programs of the United Nations System.
