Venezuela at the UN has raised the banners of non-interference and respect for sovereignty

Rafael Ramirez, Venezuela’s ambassador to the United Nations, explained this Monday that the work of our country before this body has been to raise the banner of self-determination, non-interference and respect for the sovereignty of peoples.
“There is a serious problem when the superpowers pretend to manage the destinies of the world from their desks, and that is something that we have fought in the Security Council, although we have no right to veto, we have a strong position that has characterized our international policy,” said. Ramirez during an interview with the “Dossier” program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
He stressed that Venezuela has raised at all times its voice for peace “Because the great powers very quickly engulf a whole country and articulate all their machinery of war in order to destabilize.”
Ramirez said he has been loyal to the foreign policy developed by the Supreme Commander Hugo Chavez and the principles that define the Bolivarian Revolution.
