Venezuela will attend meeting of Mercosur foreign ministers in defense of integration

The Minister for People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that she will attend a meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Southern Common Market (Mercosur), to be held on December 14 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she will raise her voice in favor of the integration and unity of the peoples.
Through her account in the Twitter social network @DrodriguezVen, she indicated that she will travel to Buenos Aires in order “to bring the message of integration and unity of Venezuela to the brotherly peoples of Mercosur.”
She denounced that the meeting was convened in an illegal manner by Argentina, a nation that, along with Brazil and Paraguay have formed a Triple Alliance in order to attack Venezuela and violate its legitimate rights within the regional bloc.
“Venezuela, in legitimate defense of its rights and interests, as well as the Mercosuran institutionality, will participate in this meeting”, stressed Rodriguez in other of her messages published on the social network.
Rodríguez said that on Thursday, December 15 she will be in Montevideo, Uruguay, where are located the Headquarters of the Mercosur Secretariat. In there, will be given continuity to “the direct negotiations promoted by Venezuela for the resolution of controversies”.
The Venezuelan Chancellor has denounced that the actions of the Triple Alliance are part of a neoliberal restoration plan by the right-wing Governments in the region, in order to attack Venezuela.
