National government fosters alliances with the private sector to boost production

President Nicolás Maduro urged on Wednesday to strengthen alliances with all sectors of the economy in order to promote the increase in national production.

This was indicated by the national president during a tour made, within the framework of a new productive Wednesday journey, to the Café del Sur roasting plant located in Guatire, Miranda state.

During this activity, the head of state invited businessmen to invest with confidence in national production, and reiterated the support by the national government: “Yes, more can be produced indeed, and with great quality”, he emphasized.

In this sense, he emphasized that consolidating the national economy involves producing our own food and having the capacity to export it, hence he instructed to “build a powerful and very diverse portfolio of Venezuelan export products for all countries of the world”.

As an example, he took precisely the case of coffee, an item that in the visited plant arrives as raw material from different producing regions of the country. “We have 248 certified coffee brands, of the highest quality in the world. In addition, we have protected the coffee sector with the tariffs. You have all the support”, said the president during the tour.

“That is the new post-capitalist economy that we are determined to build with the union of all sectors of the country”, he said.

Boost to national production:

During the day, the national president announced the approval of resources, through the anti-blockade law, for the expansion of the Coposa oilseed production plant in Portuguesa state, to increase its production by at least 60%:

“With this increase in production will increase the presence of these items made in Venezuela for the CLAP combos and the product may be used for export”, said the national president.

Similarly, President Maduro reiterated the need to continue denouncing the blockade against Venezuela, but finding the ways to continue working and overcome it:

With one hand we denounce the blockade and with the other hand we raise production. Without whining, one has to stand tall, believing in the future and believing in Venezuela (…) Venezuela has rediscovered itself in productive efforts and we are going ahead”, concluded the head of state.
