President Nicolás Maduro urges to strengthen popular self-government

You have to govern from the communes. The People’s power knows everything and can do everything. People’s power knows what the problems are, the solutions. In this new stage of transition to socialism, the 3R.Nets, we have to go all out to govern with the people’s power, for the people’s power”, affirmed the President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro during a journey of evaluation of the Good Communal Government in the Altos de Lídice Commune in the parish of La Pastora, in Caracas.

During this exchange with the spokespersons and inhabitants of the community, the Head of State emphasized that “if there is no neighborhood, social organization and People’s Power, it is impossible to attend to the problems and gradually solve them. There must be popular self-government, a government of the territory”, he stressed.

In this sense, he stressed that the national government’s objective is to strengthen People’s Power, “one of our main missions is to build People’s Power, it is to give it the political, organizational, legal, ideological, educational, and financial tools so that we can sow the new system of popular government”, he expressed.

The truth of the people:

It is worth noting that in the community of Altos de Lídice, there are 2,230 families, eight communal councils and 5,000 inhabitants, with positive experiences of community organization, worthy of multiplying as a model to promote popular self-government in all the communities of the country.

The Altos de Lídice Commune integrates eight communal councils, a social property company for the use of beneficial material, plastic, paper and cardboard, as well as a communal parliament that debates all issues inherent to the community:

I want to be connected every time with the truth of the neighborhood, with the truth of the people, for that I created the 1×10 System of Good Governance, for that I am promoting more than ever Commune or nothing!”, stressed President Nicolás Maduro.

To each problem a solution:

In this regard, he stated that each problem must generate a solution and each solution must generate a result through the 1 × 10 of Good Governance.
