Venezuela congratulates Lebanese Republic for 73rd anniversary of its independence


The Head of State, Nicolas Maduro Moros, congratulated on Tuesday to the Lebanese Republic for the 73rd anniversary of its independence.
Thus was reported by the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Delcy Rodriguez, through her Twitter account @DrodriguezVen.

COMMUNIQUÉ:
The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Government and the Venezuelan people, wishes to convey the most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Lebanon, a celebration which this year is invested with a great importance, due to the election of General Michel Aoun, as the President of that brotherly country, which under his leadership will undoubtedly succeed in advancing in favor of stability and peace.
The Bolivarian Government takes the opportunity to reiterate its willingness to continue working to promote integral cooperation between the two countries, characterized by the trust and ties of brotherhood, solidarity and affection that unite us and that in this year coincides with the seventieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela wishes to highlight the existing fraternal ties with Lebanon, from the first migrations that date from the end of the nineteenth century to the present date and were consolidated from the beginning of the Government of President Hugo Chávez Frías who always defended the joust causes and raised the banner of freedom and sovereignty, elements that have allowed us to continue to weave an indissoluble friendship between our two nations and peoples.
