From the headquarters of the Ministry of People’s Power for Defense, specifically at the Command Post of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, led the Act of End of 2023 salutation to officials of the components of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB):
“I feel deeply proud of the FANB, its morale, its discipline, its cohesion. I value the efforts directed at the defense of sovereignty, always attached to the principle of loyalty,” emphasized the also commander in chief of the FANB when highlighting the work being carried out by the men and women who are at the forefront of the new era in perfect union with the people.
During his speech, the head of state highlighted that this 2023 represented a turning point in the deployment and full development of the Bolivarian military doctrine, the operational concept and unity in combat, in the field of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces:
“200 years after the Monroe Doctrine, the FANB tells the world that it has its own doctrines, its own vision and thinking, which is why we are polishing new mechanisms of tactical action to attack internal enemies, often financed abroad, against objectives in the country,” he mentioned.
Likewise, he indicated that the transition from experimental training exercises to joint operational exercises allows the achievement of concrete missions to liberate the territory of Venezuela.
Accompanying the head of state were the sectoral vice president for Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, and also Minister of People’s Power for Defense, G/J Vladimir Padrino López; the Strategic Operational Commander of (CEOFANB), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez; and other members of the Superior General Staff of the FANB, special guests and authorities of the Executive Cabinet.
It should be noted that the protocol event ratifies the strategic nature of the military institution in the preservation of peace, territorial stability and national unity.
