Chancellor Arreaza met in Brussels with counterparts from Hungary and Spain

The Venezuelan Chancellor, Jorge Arreaza, held bilateral meetings on Monday with his counterparts from Hungary and Spain in the city of Brussels, Belgium, where will be held the 2nd Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC ) and the European Union (EU).

According to information reviewed by the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Arreaza held a first meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Peter Szijjártó.

Then, the diplomatic representative of the South American country met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, Josep Borrell.

In addition to these meetings, Arreaza met with other foreign ministers of member countries of CELAC in the Belgian capital to assess the situation in Latin America and the Caribbean on the eve of his meeting with European ministers.

Among the topics scheduled for the meeting between representatives of the CELAC and EU countries are multilateralism and the strengthening of cooperation in global forums, the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, joint work for the development of sustainable economies, among others.
