Diosdado Cabello, the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), said on Sunday that the people alerted the Venezuelan opposition during the three elections held in 2017, about what would happen in this year’s presidential elections, what in his opinion that is the reason why they insist on their abstentionist calls.
This was stated during his participation in the “José Vicente Hoy” (José Vicente Today) program, where he also stressed that “non-participation has to do with the clarity that they would not win”, as the people demonstrated in the elections for the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), for governors and mayors.
On the other hand indicated that: “When a housewife does not have medicines, supplies and foodstuffs, it is due to Julio Borges and his combo, who have asked for sanctions and we have more than 5000 million dollars withheld, however, we are complying”.
The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, said that: “this war has been going on for a long time.” At the same time, he called on those who want to leave the country: “We invite you to stay here”. As for those who emigrate to the United States, he stressed that: “those who live well, are the Venezuelan thieves in the US, (who are) happy with the money stolen from Venezuelans”.
“Venezuela is too beautiful, that’s why we have the opportunity this May 20 to continue defending it”, he emphasized. Finally, he pointed out that: “we have faced a campaign of many years against Venezuelan self-esteem. Some have fallen unwary and go outside to be mistreated. The Bolivarian Government has rescued hundreds of young people in Peru and Trinidad who have been deceived”.
