During his participation in the “Zurda Konducta” program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, Del Pino ruled that while the payment process was being carried out, there was perpetrated “an attack with treachery and advantage”, discrediting the Venezuelan State-owned oil company.
“Do imagine that you are a bond holder, and this information rains on you every day, the first thing you do is to withdraw the bonds, you do not go to the exchange, you do not continue investing in that. It is a campaign of terror on the bondholder, using an opinion matrix and trying to make it fail, “detailed the minister.
The Chairman of PDVSA said that at least $ 2.8 billion in bonds have already been exchanged, which means more than half. It was heroic, this campaign, after all this, they exchanged their bonds and now they realize that they have a 2020 bond with a better guarantee, and which today is better quoted at a value of a 70% more, he said.
