This week they will grant 17,000 promotions to FANB members

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, will award promotions this week to the level of immediate superior hierarchy to 17,000 troops of the four components of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).

The act of promotion, which takes place on the occasion of the 207th anniversary of the signing of the Act of Declaration of Independence of Venezuela, recognizes the discipline and professionalism of the military family of the nation.

“Week of military dignity in which I will award more than 17,000 promotions to recognize the effort, work, discipline and professionalism of men and women of our FANB. Soldiers and Soldiers! Follow the example of Bolívar, his ideals, his doctrine and his honor”·, wrote the Head of State on his Twitter account.

On Monday, during his participation in the act of promotion of 437 fighters of the Presidential Honor Guard, he pointed out that the protocolary event is an exhortation to elevate the values and ideals of Bolivarianism, fundamental edge of the Venezuelan military doctrine.

“We must be aware that the most important thing for a soldier here in the Homeland of Bolívar, here in this Armed Forces re-founded by Commander Chávez, is the moral, it is the honor. We should feel proud to be part of a National Armed Forces, heirs, just and dignified, of the ideals of the fairest causes that have ever been raised, the ideas of the Liberator Simón Bolívar”, he said.
