Admiral César Alberto Salazar Coll, Minister of Public Works, informed on Friday that by 2018 it is planned to build 137 works, of which 100 were already started during 2017, thanks to the resources that have been approved by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, which are in the order of 842 billion bolivars.
Salazar Coll added that: «We are building the Venezuelan stadium Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, which is completed in a 44%, and will have a capacity of 37,000 spectators.»
He also indicated that: «Nueva Esparta and Lara states are the ones that have the most works in execution, we are doing large-scale works». On the other hand, he explained that: «According to the planning we have had, we are going to reach 80% of the works completed this year, we are talking about the construction of several of these two weeks.»
Finally, he recalled that: «the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro, approved 300 billion bolivars this year for the completion of different works in the country, of which a 51% have been inaugurated». The information was provided during his participation in the «Al Aire» (On Air) program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.
