Rodriguez urged Chavista people to ensure national peace on September 1


The national leader of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and Mayor of Caracas, Jorge Rodriguez, said on Monday during the customary weekly press conference of the PSUV, that the Government of President Nicolas Maduro, together with the organized people, will ensure the peace and stability of the country on September 1, the day the Venezuelan opposition will march in Caracas.
In that regard, he recalled that would have been for the so-called Board of Unity “In 2014 here there had been a civil war, and there was not, because President Nicolas Maduro and we the Chavistas stayed on the streets and guaranteed the peace of the Republic, and so we will do, we will go throughout the entire Venezuela, through all streets, squares and highways in order to ensure peace. Starting now and until it it is deemed necessary”, he said.
He stressed that the calls for violence by the opposition leadership are permanent, because they know that there will be no recall referendum due to the mistakes that they have made. “And how do they get out of that trap?, By resorting to violence”, he said.
