President Maduro orders SAIME to redouble efforts to guarantee identification of Venezuelans

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, instructed the director of the Administrative Service for Migration and Immigration Identification (SAIME), Gustavo Vizcaíno, to redouble efforts to guarantee the identification of Venezuelan men and women:

Get ready, Gustavo Vizcaíno, you guarantee me the people’s identification card,” expressed the Head of State from the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas, where he held a Meeting with the 5 × 5 Machinery in Defense of Essequibo.

This Monday, SAIME began a special identification operation in more than 100 offices in the country, in order to guarantee that all Venezuelans have an identity document for the consultative referendum on December 3.

In this context, the National President explained that all Venezuelans who have their laminated identity card expired will still be able to exercise their right to vote in the election.

The act of voting is very simple, highlighted the President, calling on all the people to participate massively and vote “yes” 5 times in the electoral contest in defense of Guayana Esequiba.
