The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreza, said that the tour of the Secretary of State of the United States, Rex Tillerson, through Latin American and Caribbean countries “was nothing more than a demonstration of the obsession and threats against Venezuela”.
Through his account on the Twitter social network, the Head of foreign relations of Venezuela said that the tour of the high US official served to ratify the loyalty of right-wing governments with the Trump administration’s project for the region.
Finally, he pointed out that Venezuelan democracy is not due to imperialist pressures, but “to a free people.”
