Filed over 10,000 denounces at the prosecution on MUD offenses in collecting signatures

Diosdado Cabello, first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, recalled that in Caracas and 23 states have been introduced more than 10,000 criminal and civilian denounces before the prosecution, for identity theft and other crimes committed by the self-called Democratic Unity Board (MUD), in the process of collecting signatures to activate the presidential revoking referendum.
“There are a number of denounces that we, the PSUV as a party and the Patriotic Great Polo, have accompanied those who have expressed their decision to complain to the competent authorities, which have taken more than 10,000 complaints from families of dead people and others who had their signatures taunted, and will be the authorities who will make the decisions that may be deemed necessary” he said at a press conference held from Bolivar state, where it was performed the meeting of the National Directorate of the PSUV.
Cabello pointed out that in this phase comprising the collection of 1% of signatures of voters for a political organization to be authorized as a promoter of a revoking process, and demonstrated once again the fraudulent spirit on which the Venezuelan opposition is founded, which seeks by all means, even violent, to take the political power in the country.
“Whoever wants a revoking referendum has to comply with the Constitution and the law. The Constitution have very clear margins, and the law has them as well. If there is no revoking referendum in here, it will not be because of us; if there is no revoking referendum it will be, only and exclusively because of those who have been at the forefront of that process”, he said.
He mentioned that, of having that sector wanted the referendum to be held this year, “they could have requested the revoking referendum on January 11, begin that process, and there were no reason for these lapses not to work, but they started it in late April, also with trickery” he said.
