National government will do everything possible to bring back Venezuelan migrants from the US

The Bolivarian Government will deploy all necessary means to ensure the return of Venezuelan migrants to any region of the world, according to Jorge Rodríguez, the person designated for the Peace Talks by the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, during a press conference on Monday. These statements respond to the recent kidnappings of Venezuelans by the United States government, citizens who were transported for their incarceration in prisons in El Salvador:

«We are going to send all the planes to any part of the world to search for our Venezuelan sisters and brothers,» emphasized the president of the National Assembly (AN). «We will recover them, we will rescue them, we will not rest. Just as we managed to recover the Venezuelans kidnapped in Guantánamo, we will recover the Venezuelans kidnapped in El Salvador,» he added.

He then informed the Venezuelan migrants: «Come back to your country. We will put the full force of the Venezuelan state at your disposal so that you can return to dignity, to a full life, and to the freedom we live in Venezuela.» He also stated that «Venezuela will raise its voice wherever it should,» including before those international organizations «that pay lip service to human rights, that pay lip service to immigrant rights, that charged millions of dollars to treat immigrants in an inhumane manner.»

The Tren de Aragua is completely fictitious:

Furthermore, Rodríguez dismissed accusations that the migrants detained in El Salvador belong to the Tren de Aragua (Aragua Train) criminal gang, because this gang simply does not exist. He also emphasized that the criminal gangs that previously operated in Venezuelan territory were financed with funds from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID): «There is absolutely no organized group of the gangs we dismantled that would call itself the Tren de Aragua; they are doing it to kidnap Venezuelans,» he warned.

«It’s a vulgar kidnapping, it’s a crime against humanity. We will not only apply the Bolívar Law, we will also go to international bodies,» he added. Finally, he noted that Venezuelan far-right leader María Corina Machado confessed to her crime against humanity, as she expressed her respect for Washington’s decision: «She respects the kidnapping and robbery of a 14-year-old child,» condemned Rodríguez.
