The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported on the successful dismantling of Operation Oro, an action that has led to the capture of several individuals involved in activities that sought to destabilize the country.
During his speech, in the edition of his “Con Maduro+” program, he highlighted: «They were all captured thanks to the joint work of the police forces, the intelligence and counterintelligence of the country, the People’s Power in Venezuela and many good and friendly people abroad.»
The national President revealed that those involved were caught red-handed, also highlighting that «they are all convicted and have also confessed.»
In this regard, he mentioned that what was stated by the Minister of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, was «barely one percent (1%) of all that they [the terrorists] have said» and added that «the operation continues in full development.»
Maduro emphasized the importance of informing the public about these advances: «We believed it was necessary for the public to know this, because we continue to dismantle these nuclei of conspiracy.»
In addition, he called on the People’s Power to be alert at all times:
«No one can let their guard down, no one, not our leaders there in the commune, in the streets, the community, nor our organized people, nor our Bolivarian National Armed Forces, nor our glorious Bolivarian National Militia, nor our police security forces,» he instructed.
The President also warned about the threat that this situation represents, explaining that «we are facing a fascist threat,» and in this context he stressed the importance of peace in the nation and denounced that «these people came with macabre plans, to exploit, destroy, finish and try to create internal unrest.»
Jair Bolsonaro as main financier of terrorist groups:
President Maduro explained that these terrorists of Operation Oro are part of a nucleus that was financed by former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro:
«There are several, this is a nucleus that was supported by Bolsonaro when he was president of Brazil, in December 2019, and he lent the weapons, the logistics, to attack a military fort, there, near Santa Elena de Uairén, Operation Roraima, there were dead and wounded, rifles were stolen,» he explained.
Along these lines, he explained that a commission of the Bolivarian National Guard confronted them and then this terrorist group fled to the border with the Brazilian country:
“(…) The Brazilian army was waiting for them there on Bolsonaro’s orders and they were evacuated in Brazilian army helicopters. It was an armed attack on the Venezuelan army, on the country, and it was directed by Jair Bolsonaro personally”, he stressed.
He also reiterated: “Today, those captured who were in this operation have revealed everything that happened, how it happened. They are there, if in Brazil one day the justice organs want to open an investigation, here are the captured people, who lived in Brazil and can tell where they lived, how much they were paid, how they were moved, how they were armed, how they were trained to attack Venezuela”.

“Also recently —it is in full development—, we have eradicated a Nazi cancer cell in Venezuela, it is one of the most diabolical cancer cells that we have achieved in the history of the struggle for the stability of peace. Some kind of ideology of admiration for Hitler”.
This was reported by the Head of State, who indicated: “All these groups are linked to the extreme right wing that we defeated on July 28 and that we happily defeated on January 10, when they threatened and challenged Venezuela”.
“So, they maintain the conspiracy, and if they maintain the conspiracy we also maintain our effort for peace, guaranteed stability, as we will continue to guarantee it”, he asserted.
