The Constituent Assembly must armor the sovereignty and justice system

The candidate for the National Assembly for Monagas state, Diosdado Cabello, said this Monday that one of the main tasks of the National Constituent Assembly should be to strengthen the principle of sovereignty and independence of the country, as well as the correct application of the justice system in Venezuela.

From the Bolívar Square in downtown Caracas, Cabello said that strengthening sovereignty in the new constitution will prevent other countries from attempting to interfere in the nation’s internal affairs.

“If there is something to be armored is the sovereign independence of the Bolivarian Homeland, so that nothing nor nobody can interfere in our internal affairs, so that the Organization of American States (OAS) will never more get their claws in Venezuela”, he said in a joint Radio and Television broadcast, during a National Meeting with Territorial and Sectoral Candidates, in which also participates the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

Regarding justice, he ratified that the ANC will install a Commission for the Truth to establish the responsibility of those who have tried to violate the Constitution.

“Justice is indispensable for peace,” he said.
