President Maduro highlighted achievements during the six years since the founding of the Great Venezuela Bella Mission

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the importance of the creation of the Great Mission Venezuela Bella, to recover and beautify public spaces throughout the national territory:

Six years ago, in the midst of an economic war, threats of invasion and criminal sanctions, I told the people: nerves of steel, calm and sanity, that the team wins; and I went to Los Flores de Catia to found the Great Mission Venezuela Bella”, he said.

Through an audiovisual published on his social networks, the president detailed: “In 2024 we have carried out 6,077 interventions together with the governorships and mayors in 331 municipalities throughout the country”.

In this regard, he said that thanks to the Great Mission Venezuela Bella, these were some of the achievements: 1,357 squares, 332 boulevards, 857 parks, 3,461 murals, 1,998 common spaces, 866 Catholic churches, 4,727 evangelical temples, 753 main highways, 2,566 national roads, 1,276 streets, 1,276 landscaping, 1,778 social infrastructures, 69 university campuses and 10 military academies.

Since 2019, when the mission was created, the country has created spaces for life and we continue to move forward, with each square and street recovered. We have woven a tapestry of beauty that magnifies the soul of our people, testimony that unity and work is a commitment that we carry in our hearts,” he said.

He also said that «never before has so much been done for public spaces, boulevards, parks and places where people can walk, share and recreate. It is a high-impact mission that has been recovering, transforming and building the works of the future that cities need to advance towards a modern country.»

«All the people I receive from abroad, who come to visit us, to share their support and bring their investments, agree on how beautiful Venezuela is, a reality that the media tries to make invisible, but they will not be able to,» he added.
