The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced the activation of the fourth Transformation (4T), a plan that seeks to consolidate peace and promote social justice in the country:
“January 30, 2025 has arrived, we are going to the great social transformation to build the Venezuela of happiness, equality, well-being, our socialism in the social, our socialism in the territorial scope,” he said.
During his speech, the president detailed the fundamental axes of the previous transformations that were activated in recent days:
“We have been activating, first of all, the first T (1T), of the economy, all its lines of action, the 13 economic engines for us to continue building our own model of wealth generation and diversification in the 21st century,” he added.
The President highlighted that the second transformation focuses on the construction of «a new city, human cities for good living, public services,» he emphasized and highlighted the importance of improving public services through the 1×10 program for the well-being of citizens.
He also referred to the activation of the third transformation, which covers citizen security and national defense:
«(…) With the Escudo Bolivariano (Bolivarian Shield) 2025 military exercises, from north to south, from east to west, in perfect popular, military and police fusion, we activate the third “T” of citizen security, stability, peace, the defeat of criminal gangs, the defeat of mercenary conspiracies,» he stressed.
The Dignitary, prior to the activation of the fourth T, recalled the teachings of Simon Bolivar, who defined peace as «our port, our glory, our reward.»
«Because peace is our most precious asset that we have managed to consolidate, peace with dignity (…), peace to build the Homeland, peace to make more revolution, peace to dream and build the socialist society of the 21st century which is our greatest love for humanity, that is what peace is for,» he stressed.
