The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, set a goal of bringing the production of the National Steel Complex located in La Yaguara, Antímano parish (Caracas), to 100%.
He stressed that the powerful complex is producing and urged the government authorities present, together with the working class of the Steel Complex, to raise production figures: «We have to bring this complex, sooner rather than later, to 100% production. It is a commitment that must be fulfilled, we are building the model of productive socialism, for a real economy that grows, advances and strengthens.»
These words were spoken when carrying out an inspection of the Rod Rolling Plant of this National Steel Complex. There he supervised the advances that are linked to all productive processes, as part of a socialist management model together with the working class.
This company supplies the construction and steel sector and encourages the construction of housing. It also supplies the hardware sector, so that it is sold at an affordable cost to the communities, without affecting the income of the beneficiaries, encouraging national production, and it also has the capacity to export rebar.
The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted the various areas that they supply from the different areas of the productive sector: “The important thing, together with the workers, is how this plant is linked to other productive processes, it gives impetus to other engines of the economy, the agro-industrial engine, construction, housing, among others. With this, basic companies become the industrial heart of Venezuela. This is the path of love, of its workers and workers, for the happiness of all”.
«The economic blockade and sanctions imposed by foreign powers have caused great losses in the nation’s income, but have been the impetus for the creativity and ingenuity of Venezuelans, in order to produce inputs, provide services and build the integral development of the nation, through the promotion of the productive processes of basic industries, as carried out by the Steel Complex,» added the Venezuelan head of state.
