Prior to the elections of the Justices of the Peace, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, urged the people of Venezuela to vote on December 15 in order to continue strengthening the Communal Power.
Along these lines, the President pointed out that with the creation of the Justices of the Peace, the transformation of the Venezuelan State will be achieved, a democratic, humanistic, modern, advanced State, with direct and popular democracy.
He also stressed that «Venezuela has its powerful democracy, a State that works with an educated people, a new democracy of the new socialist and democratic modernity,» this to refer to the fact that the civilization inherited from European and North American colonialism failed, and now there is a socialist, Bolivarian modernity of the 21st century, for the construction of a new civilization.
The national dignitary also pointed out that in the new Bolivarian and socialist modernity that works with an educated and empowered people, the exercise of power is strengthened through its grassroots organizations such as the Communal Councils and Communes.
The Venezuelan President said: «A new civilization must be built, truly human, because Venezuela is on its way to building a new modernity.»
