“The world needs Venezuela in its energy equation for stability,” stressed President Maduro.
The Dignitary explained that, despite the sanctions, the country “is about to certify the fourth largest gas reserve in the world,” reporting that Venezuela “has established international strategic partnerships,” to start exporting gas.
In this sense, he mentioned the agreements with Trinidad and Tobago and other global investors, highlighting that “this will be a very important income in the future for the Venezuelan economy,” he assured.
The President also defended the continuity of the legacy of Commander Hugo Chavez, stating that, “although the original plan was affected by the sanctions, the economic war, the country has managed to get back on track.» He emphasized that «sooner rather than later, we will be a country that exports energy through gas.»
He also stressed that “the Bolivarian Government is the only one that can offer security for investments and for the production of oil and gas energy in this part of the planet, in South America, in Venezuela.»
