Statements by the U.S. Vice President are despicable and vomiting

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, described the statements made by the US Vice President Mike Pence regarding Venezuela as despicable and vomiting.

“I read this and what it causes me is nausea, that a man who does not know where is Venezuela in the map opines on our country, only ourselves will take care of the affairs of Venezuela, for better or worse”, he said.

From the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense, at Fort Tiuna, Caracas, in an act of decoration and acknowledgement to the military officials, the Head of State admitted that Venezuela has its problems, and that only the Venezuelans should and can fix them, “but certainly in 18 years of Revolution there has been progress in matters of culture, education, health, social equality, work”, he said.

The Venezuelan President recalled that in Venezuela have been held 20 elections during the last 18 years, and that our democracy is considered to be healthy. In contrast, in the United States, during the same period of time, only six electoral processes have been carried out.

“Imperialism wants to implement its old script of a coup d’état, its old manual to intervene the countries, is a manual that has failed in Venezuela, in all the conjunctures that they have implemented, and I say to Mr. (U.S.) Vice-President: take you nose off Venezuela, you failed again in Venezuela, there will be no gringo, Yankee or imperialist intervention. In Venezuela there will be peace, democracy, elections, constituent assembly”, he said.
