The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, highlighted the revolutionary spirit of General Alberto Müller Rojas, who was an important figure of the revolutionary process, and was part of the directors of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).
This August 13 are met six years after the death of this fighter, a native of Tachira state.

Müller Rojas was born on August 9, 1935 in Tachira state, and throughout his life developed a tireless work for democracy in the country. In support of the Bolivarian Government, Müller Rojas served as vice president of the PSUV and was in the campaign command of then presidential candidate Hugo Chavez for the 1998 elections.
