The first Vice-President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, warned about the Alcatraz Plan that advances the Voluntad Popular (VP) party.
“There is much interest from the leaders of VOluntad People’s in various popular sectors near the Ramo Verde prison. Their interest has intensified lately, so as to attract militants for this violent party. They call it the Alcatraz Plan. ”
Cabello added that: “They offer from baskets and food bags, up to false promises of housings. On Monday, November 14, at 6 o’clock in the afternoon, was held a meeting at a school belonging to the Miranda Governorate, located in Ramo Verde. ”
The first Vice-President of the PSUV said that in this meeting participated “Alfredo Jimeno, the councilman of Chacao, a friend of Perez Venta; Ramon Rivero, brother of the fugitive Antonio Rivero; Efraín Ramayo, among other leaders of VP, who agreed to hold a meeting with the communal councils of the zone closest to Ramo Verde prison, to strengthen the control of the terrain.
Cabello explained that the first phase of this VP plan “is to conduct a population census to fully identify them and after a second phase they will take advantage of their needs and will offer, dfrom food bags, appliances, water tanks, toys, all with the purpose of taking possession of the closest lands to the Ramo Verde prison, supposedly for a future plan, for a rescue of the Monster of Ramo Verde (Leopoldo López). ”
