President Maduro warned that “we are facing a cyber-fascist and criminal coup d’état”

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, presented a new characterization of what is happening in Venezuela after knowing the results of the elections on July 28 that re-elected him as Head of State:

We are facing a cyber-fascist and criminal coup d’état,” Maduro said at first during the central act celebrating the 87th anniversary of the creation of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), held this Sunday in the spaces of the Ministry of Defense.

An imperialist coup d’état, which has fascist characteristics, full of hatred against institutions,” concluded the President, who praised the “exemplary conduct” exhibited by the GNB when it took to the streets “to defend this people and its right to Peace.”

Maduro explained that he qualified as «cyber-fascist» the denounced coup d’état «because we are receiving the cyber attack through all social networks to fill Venezuela with hatred and to divide us.» And as for the fascist qualifier, «because it is its main characteristic: hatred, violence, irrationality; and (it is) criminal because it has had a significant group of criminals trained abroad, paid and bought here to attack hospitals, schools, universities, protection modules.»

The president took advantage of the moment to offer condolences to the relatives of two GNB agents killed in the latest acts of violence that occurred after a sector of the opposition disowned the results offered by the CNE in the early hours of last July 29.
