As part of the information and educational campaign in national union in defense of Guayana Esequiba, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, instructed social movements to distribute the booklet of pedagogical activities in all the communities of the country “Essequibo is Ours!”, with the purpose of promoting study and research on the Essequibo territory:
“It is a very complete work on the history of this struggle for boys, girls, young people and for all of us, we must multiply this booklet and raise national awareness, let us form the historical consciousness of our people,” he expressed.
Likewise, the head of state urged the Venezuelan population to multiply the workshops and the booklet throughout the national territory: “Let us raise national awareness, let us form the historical consciousness of our people, to make a powerful transition to a new, different and better world.” and that is not being decided for us abroad by colonial elites,” he stated.
Finally, he stated that the protagonist of the history being written in Venezuela is the people deployed in the streets, neighborhoods, communities, towns and cities on December 3, a day full of victories, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Homeland.
