The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, began the meeting of the National Council of Productive Economy this Thursday, with the agro-industrial sector held in the Ezequiel Zamora room of the White Palace in Caracas, which was joined by the national president, Nicolás Maduro Moros.
«We have been reviewing all the mechanisms to guarantee timely and full supply for the entire country,» said the vice president.
She stressed that the meeting is also focused on national production, on the distribution of food to guarantee food on the plates of Venezuelans.
For his part, the President of the Republic asked businessmen not to turn the economy into a political battlefield or polarized blocs again:
«I think that is the mistake that was made from 2001 to 2021 (…) The economy at the center of a diatribe and if I was against the government and produced a product I hid it: Who lost in the end? The one who made that,» he reflected.
