Government and Venezuelan people congratulate Dominica on 38th anniversary of their Independence


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, on behalf of his Hovernment and the people of Venezuela congratulates the Commonwealth of Dominica on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of independence; through an official statement.
In the text is reaffirmed the will and the unitary spirit driven by Commander Hugo Chavez with the Caribbean people.
Following is the full text of the Communiqué:
The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Government and the people of Venezuela expresses his fraternal and warm congratulations to the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, to his Government and its people on the occasion of celebrating the 38th anniversary of their independence.
The people of Simon Bolivar specially joins the brotherly Dominican people, under the leadership of Roosevelt Skerrit, who has managed to fight the battles for equality, development, sovereignty, independence, and peace, both for the people and for our Caribbean Big Homeland.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reaffirms the will and the unitary spirit wrought by Commander Hugo Chavez with the Caribbean peoples, through emancipatory mechanisms such as ALBA and Petrocaribe, and confirms the commitment to continue working together in building a multipolar, multi-center world, respectful of the Public International law in peace and stability of humanity.
