The Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, warned that the Western and right-wing press try to trivialize all the assassination attacks against him, and behave as cover-ups for the plans against the Homeland of Simón Bolívar and Hugo Chávez:
“They try to cover that up, in an attitude of complicity and cover-up. I have no doubt that the big agencies must remain silent and cover up and, worst of all, try to victimize and turn the plotters into victims,” he publicly accused the big media corporations of the planet, during the Digital Zone segment of the “Con Maduro+” program on its 42nd edition, when responding to questions from the prominent Spanish journalist, Ignacio Ramonet.
He said that it is such a shameless cover-up that if these attacks that have been perpetrated in Venezuela occurred in countries like the United States, Europe and so-called Western nations, there would be front-page headlines and even considered terrorist actions.
The Venezuelan president recalled that, in (the event of) the drone attack in 2018, the headlines were published to make people believe that the assassination attack was a lie. Now, all the conspiracies revealed in just two years are silenced so as not to reveal the truth of the violence by the right wing:
“We have all the evidence, it is conclusive, I would even say, in legal, conclusive language,” he said about the intellectual, material authors, planners and financiers of the five conspiracies discovered in 2023, and the four discovered in 2024:
“It is a plan to fill Venezuela with violence,” denounced the Head of State, warning that the US government, when it talks about agreements with Venezuela, really has as its main objective to overthrow the Bolivarian government and appropriate the immense resources that the nation possesses:
“Let no one be deceived. I am not deceived, I have led the conversations with the gringos and I am not deceived. The US government’s plan is to bring violence, guarimba (riots), beatings, to destabilize Venezuela so that we do not have a gradual recovery and its path of peace.”
He assured Ramonet that the “pulse” is to confront the illegal, perverse and dirty plans the US imperial government executes every day: “And who is going to be more powerful? Us men and women. Life and peace will triumph here and we are moving towards an exemplary electoral process. Let it be known by those born and those yet to be born!“, he said in a prophetic way.
President Maduro predicted that Venezuela will be in peace, with stability and the people will triumph in the elections on July 28, and they will be an example for the country and the world: “In the meantime, I entrust myself to Almighty God and the people, so that they take care of me and will continue to take care of me, because they will not be able to defeat us.”
