Head of State describes Celac meeting as extraordinary

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, valued the extraordinary summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), held this Tuesday via videoconference, before the takeover by force of the Mexican Embassy in Ecuador, where the diplomatic mission staff was attacked.

The head of state expressed through his account on the X social network, @NicolasMaduro, that “It was Extraordinary the Celac Summit! We trust in Mexico in favor of the right to Peace, and they count on Venezuela for these battles for the future. Let’s move forward with reflection, action and uniting wills.”

In the speech at the Celac Summit: “I reiterated respect for international law and Peace. Absolute solidarity with the people of Mexico. Dialogue, humanism and dignity!”

President Maduro expressed that there is no doubt that the violent action of the Noboa Government against the diplomatic corps of Mexico in that country is an aberrant act that the entire world condemns: “Assaulting the Mexican embassy, beating its diplomatic staff live and direct, tying up and capturing Jorge Glas, has been an act of barbarism… The condemnation has been unanimous and absolute. “No one in this world comes out to defend this barbaric act,” he said.

In the videoconference, he reaffirmed that Venezuela fully supports Mexico’s proposal to expel Ecuador from the United Nations Organization, until it apologizes to the International Community and restores the situation to its legal and original state: “We believe that Celac should continue In a process of reflection, action, uniting wills, we support Mexico’s proposal to expel Ecuador from the UN,” he expressed.
