Maduro: 2021 is the first year of economic growth since the start of the Economic War

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured this Thursday during the inauguration ceremony of Governor Héctor Rodríguez, that this 2021 has been the first year of economic growth since the economic war against the country began.

Thanks to this, he called for strengthening the alliance with the private sector to recover 100% of the productive capacity of Miranda state:

Amidst the sanctions we are better prepared to undertake a better task of the social welfare state and that we can only do with the People’s Power,” he said.

In this context, the national leader stressed that “the victory in Miranda state was a ratification of the path of socialism”.

“Thank you Miranda! We triumphed again with the sovereign and brave vote of the people of Miranda, thank you for re-electing Héctor Rodríguez as Governor for the next four years!” he emphasized during his participation in the swearing act of Rodriguez, celebrated at the “Papa Carrillo” Gymnasium in Parque Miranda.

At the event were present the mayors and councilors elected on November 21, with the exception of those elected by the Venezuelan opposition: “I greet the mayors elected by the opposition and I wish they were here”, he said.

However, he urged the reelected governor of Miranda state to activate a joint work agenda with all mayors, communal councils, communes and street chiefs men and women, “in order to maintain and improve 1 × 10 to meet the needs of the people”.

He affirmed that from Miranda state, he plans to build a powerful economy not dependent on oil income:

Our country is experiencing a great change of era, you have chosen a great governor to be in charge of Miranda in this new era that is opening for our country. Congratulations, Miranda. With Miranda we say: We shall overcome! ”Concluded the Head of State.

Héctor Rodríguez was sworn in by the president of the Legislative Council, Joan Contreras, in the presence of the new legislators of the parliament of Miranda, as well as the mayors of the entity, together with the street and community leaders of the different municipalities in the region.

In his words, Héctor Rodríguez, vowed to dedicate himself in body and soul to making Bolívar and Chávez’s project come true, to building a society of justice and equality for the greatest amount of happiness possible:

“I swear to give myself in body and soul to improve the quality of life of the people of Miranda and contribute to peace and prosperity for all the Venezuelan people, I swear,” said the governor.
