“They are the same (coup plotting opposition), there will be the eyes of oligarchs with surnames, traitors, conspirators and they will see that we are also the same as the people standing on the streets; the people mobilized, but more conscious, organized, willing, prepared and more committed to the homeland,” said the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
In the vicinity of Miraflores Palace, where he received the march for the Day of the Rescue of National Dignity and the 15th anniversary of the Bolivarian Militia, the head of State recalled that on April 12, 2002 the Venezuelan opposition assaulted the Miraflores Palace and dissolved all public powers:
“The cowards of the surnames had ordered to kill Commander Hugo Chávez, they could not, because there are patriotic soldiers in Venezuela, soldiers who defend the Constitution,” he emphasized.
