President Nicolás Maduro to Felipe de Borbón: Spain intends to minimize and falsify the events that occurred during the so-called conquest of America

This Thursday the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, sent on behalf of the heroic Venezuelan people a letter to the King of Spain, Felipe de Borbón, in order to demand respect for the memory of the ancestors who suffered 529 years ago, through crimes and violence, the occupation of the Spanish empire.

Through a message posted on his account on the Twitter social network twitter @NicolasMaduro, the Head of State shared the letter in which he expressed his rejection of the fact that the European country “intends to minimize and falsify the events that occurred during the so-called conquest of the Americas”:
