Head of State congratulates CNE for a successful Consultative Referendum simulation

The electoral simulation of November 19 vindicated the rights of Venezuela over the territory of Guayana Esequiba, and more than 3,500,000 people participated, which tripled the number of votes that have been made in relation to other simulations”, highlighted this Monday the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during the 26th edition of the “Con Maduro+” program.

The statements were announced by the head of state in the “Con Maduro+ Democracy” segment, which was held from the José Félix Ribas hall, in the spaces of the Teresa Carreño Theater, “the people unites to defend their Essequibo territory. The simulation was a successful day of preparation for the referendum on December 3, since peace, tranquility, harmony and unity of all Venezuelans reigned at the polling stations.”

In that sense, President Maduro expressed that “the consultative referendum on Guayana Esequiba is the greatest factor in the unification of all of Venezuela. For the first time, in 150 years of struggle, the entire people are being consulted for a territory that is not a problem of elites, it is a problem of peasants, women, youth, the working class, artists, a topic for everyone.”
