Communes will consolidate lines of social development of the nation

With the installation of the Presidential Council of People’s Government, the communes will consolidate the social development lines of the nation. Thus was stressed by the Minister of People’s Power for Communes and Social Movements, Nordis Herrera, who added that this initiative was legitimized by the commoner men and women from all over the country.

She also explained to the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, that this new power is divided into four sectors, thus being: The Executive, Planning, Comptroller and the Productive economy sectors, as well as 17 committees established in this organizational process in harmony with the people.

“Our Presidential Councils were legitimized at the municipal levels, then they went to great state meetings and today we have this powerful Presidential Council, just as you requested us in each of the states and that are also trained with all that energy to accompany you”, said Herrera.

For its part, the President of the Permanent Participation and People’s Power Commission of the National Assembly, Deputy, Luis José Marcano, presented the progress of the popular consultation within the framework of the adoption of the project of the Organic Law of Communal Cities.

The legislator by Anzoátegui State stated that the whole country has already been toured, where proposals have been discussed to feed this new legal framework:

“They are thousands of proposals that we have been receiving, systematizing, we have used the dynamics of the face-to-face activities and the alternative of video-conferences. Today we can say that more than 200,000 thousand Venezuelan men and women actively participated”, said Marcano.

Finally, I greet the accompaniment of regional and local parliaments, as well as those of the legislative power. The project came to consult with 59 articles, which aspire to be approved along with 21 new precepts, which would total 80 references, this resulting that the proposals were heard and processed for this text.
