“Let’s make Venezuela a splendid homeland of work, prosperity and development. We are writing a new history, let us leave the past of violence behind and move forward together for the well-being of Venezuelan men and women. Let’s think big for our country!», highlighted the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, through social networks.
The head of state pointed out that they will strengthen the union of the people and all its sectors, “with effort and good faith, for dialogue, understanding and peace in Venezuela,” this in reference to the position of the Bolivarian Government for its commitment to defend the sovereignty of the country from interventionist attacks and destabilization plans by various opposition sectors.
In that same sense, the president stressed that they are going to circulate a document among all sectors to ratify with signatures the Barbados (dialogue) path, and to firmly request that the sanctions be lifted permanently and completely on Venezuelan society. The document circulates in the business, political, cultural, religious, social and academic sectors to reaffirm, with the signature of everyone, the agreements reached between the parties:
«All my support for the lifting of sanctions, we have taken giant steps in the field of diplomacy to ensure that Venezuela respects itself and this meeting must serve for a great national consensus, and achieve with national unity without violence, so that in this conference we all go together for the complete lifting of each and every one of the sanctions,” he said.
“Let’s make Venezuela a splendid homeland of work, prosperity and development. We are writing a new history, let us leave the past of violence behind and move forward together for the well-being of Venezuelan men and women. Let’s think big for our country!”
