President Maduro announces 5 fundamental vertices of the Great Mission Women Venezuela

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, pointed out in his speech regarding the creation and launch of the Great Mission Women Venezuela, the five fundamental vertices of the main objectives of this mission.

The Great Mission Women Venezuela is made up of five vertices:

– Protection of the woman’s health and life at all stages of her life.

– Education for the empowerment of Venezuelan women.

– Woman, as an independent economic subject.

– Eradication of violence against women and timely gender justice.

– Woman, as a protagonist and her participation in Venezuela.

The first vertex is related to the protection of the health and life of women at all stages of their lives. This vertex includes a set of actions to achieve this objective.

The second vertex has to do with education, for this purpose he announced the creation of the Edúcate Platform in Venezuela, which will be executed through INCES and under the virtual-in person modalities, all educational programs will be endorsed by the Ministries for Education and for University Education, in order to achieve the goal for 750,000 women to finish their training in basic, secondary and diversified education in a one year period.

The third vertex is directly related to women as independent economic subjects, which is supported by the creation of the Economic and Financial Plan to Support Women (CrediMujer), through which 15% of the credit portfolio of public banks and private should be directed to projects created by Venezuelan women.

The fourth vertex is oriented towards the eradication of violence against women and timely gender justice.

The fifth vertex focuses its objective on women as participatory protagonists in the destinies of Venezuela.

President Maduro explained that, “all the programs we have towards women must be articulated in a single effort starting today in the Great Mission Women Venezuela, which must be strengthened and used in their general coverage.”
