The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that, as of this Wednesday, the Capital District and Miranda state pass to level I of the flexibilization stage – in which the radical quarantine is maintained -, due to the accelerated increase in positive cases for Covid-19.

In this sense, he detailed that in the Capital District there are 1,079 positive cases in total, of which 840 remain active, with 221 recovered and 18 deceased.

Moreover, in Miranda state up to date 889 positive Covid-19 cases have been registered, of which 585 remain active, 297 are recovered, and are counted seven deceased.

In a telephone contact, the state’s governor, Héctor Rodríguez, reported that after an evaluation the Government made the decision to count, in addition to the Integral Diagnostic Centers (CDI), with sanitary hotels and sanitary schools, in order to have enough space to isolate all possible positive cases.
