The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, received the official delegation of the Republic of Congo that is visiting our country at Miraflores Palace.
The meeting is held regarding the installation of the First Mixed Commission between Caracas and Brazzaville, which took place in the Venezuelan capital this Wednesday, August 2.
Attending this meeting are the Minister of International Cooperation and Promotion of the Public Private Association, Denis Christel Sassou Nguesso; the Minister of Cultural, Tourism, Artistic and Recreation Industry, Lydie Pongault; the Minister of Forestry Economy, Rosalie Matondo; the concurrent ambassador of the Republic of the Congo in Venezuela, Sylvain Goma; and the ambassador, head of the Department of Development Cooperation in the Ministry of International Cooperation and Promotion of Public-Private Association, Simeón Ewongo.
On the Venezuelan side, President Maduro is accompanied by the sectoral Vice President for Planning, Ricardo Menéndez; the Minister for Oil, Pedro Tellechea; the Minister for Ecological Mining Development, William Serantes Pinto; the head of Industries and National Production, Hipólito Abreu; the head of the Transportation Office, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán; the Vice Minister for Africa, Yuri Pimentel and the Venezuelan Ambassador to the Republic of Congo, Aníbal Márquez.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Congo installed the Mixed Commission in Caracas, which addresses issues of tourism and international cooperation, strengthening ties of brotherhood and cultural exchange.
