Second humanitarian aid flight from Venezuela arrived in Haiti

The Bolivarian Government sent 30 tons of medical supplies, food, blankets and hammocks to the people of Haiti, in order to serve the populations furthest from the big cities where the devastating 7.2 magnitude earthquake occurred on August 14.

“We are delivering 30 tons of humanitarian aid, with guidance based on the needs made by the Haitian Government, with supplies for the basic needs of the affected population, with drinking water, food and medicines”, said the Vice Minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection, Eduardo Hurtado.

This is the second flight of humanitarian aid sent by the Bolivarian Government to Haiti to lessen the crisis exacerbated by the earthquake.
